Police say that the two are neighbours sharing the same address.
The Nigerian Police have arrested a 20-year old Umar Ubale for allegedly inflicting a cut that led to the amputation of his neighbour’s hand in Jigawa State.
Police spokesman, ASP Lawan Shiisu revealed in a statement that the incident took place on August 22 in a village in Birnin-Kudu Local Government area of the state.

The cut from the cutlass was so deep that Ya’u had to be referred to a specialist hospital where his hand was eventually amputated. Before that, Ya’u was rushed to a local hospital where he was rejected.
He, however didn’t disclose the reason behind the wicked act but assured that investigations would be carried out. Ubale would be charged to court once the investigations are completed.
