5 Things That Don’t Determine Your Self Worth.

Your self-worth is not assumed by others neither is it defined by what you haven’t attained.

There is this popular abuse that goes like this I will buy you with N50 and change will remain yeah that’s ridiculous but the point the person is trying to make is the other person is worthless.

A lot of times I’ve happened to ask myself, what’s my worth? and I believe at one point you’ve asked yourself this also.
There are a lot of things that don’t determine your self-worth but a lot of people think they do, so let’s see what they are.

  • Your Career: Now your career may be something you are proud of or not, be it good or bad, it doesn’t define you as a person.
  • Your Grades: Your Grades might not be something you are excited to share with others, this doesn’t define who you are, neither does it say how intelligent you are.
  • Your Age: Age is just a number they say, I concur. Be you 15 or 50, that doesn’t say much about your worth. Your age is what it is, so let it be, it has nothing to do with your worth.
  • Relationship Status: A married person doesn’t have much value than a single person and vice versa, even if society says different. I honestly believe your relationship status is not a criterion for measuring self-worth.
  • Appearance: Changing your look is a personal decision, but be aware it has nothing to do with your self-worth. Beauty always fades and it is worse for people who think their self-worth is dependent on their looks.

Like I said in the beginning, your worth is not determined by others, but by yourself, believe you worth so much and that’s how people will look at you, it starts with the mindset.
