Waje made the announcement via her an Instagram page on Tuesday, 10th of August with a caption which began with “a girl needs a father”.
“A girl needs a father. A girl needs her father. This girl will always love her father. This girl will dearly miss her father. Rest well daddy you will always be in our hearts!” The singer wrote.
Condolences began to pour shortly after she made the announcement via her page.
Fellow celebrities like Omawunmi, Korede Bello, Adunni Ade have sent their best regards as they took to their social media platforms to condole with the singer.
“Daddo! Rest well. Sisto! You are not alone.” Omawummi wrote.
