The Kogi State Police Command has confirmed the release of Prof. James Alabi, Dean, Management Sciences, Kogi State University Anyigba.
The Police said the don regained his freedom on Saturday night after six days in kidnappers’ den.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP William Ovye Aya, confirmed this while speaking to DAILY POST on Sunday.
Aya said Prof. Alabi had since reunited with his family.
According to the PPRO, the Police swung into action immediately the Lecturer was kidnapped and ensured that he was released unhurt.
