On Twitter, today was supposed to be an uneventful weekend free of banters as there are no EPL games. Surprisingly, the African Giant decided that peace was not an option. 

Peace was thrown out of the window, after Damini Ogulu best known by his stage name, Burna Boy, took to Twitter to announce that he was the highest-paid African artiste.

The superstar made a beautiful thread on how he only wants to keep performing on stages. According to him, it is during the stage performances that he finds satisfaction. 

He further added that he has lived his dreams and fulfilled all his goals. Additionally, money no longer gives him satisfaction though he is the highest-paid African artiste.

His submission as the highest-paid African artiste did not sit well with fans of other superstars. Particularly, Davido and Wizkid fans.

Emotions were riled and the banter began. Consequently, Burna Boy landed on the trend table.

As expected, Burna’s Tweet went viral and became a topic on various blogs. This did not sit well with the Grammy Award winner. Burna Boy returned to Twitter to lambast blogs. He accused them of not posting his achievements but was quick to blog on his controversial utterances.

Furthermore, the African Giant went live on Instagram. Honestly, Damini woke up today and chose violence. During his live someone mentioned that Davido was richer. Burna Boy’s response will leave you in stitches.
