BREAKING: Gunmen Attack Federal University, Abduct Students on Campus.

An unconfirmed number of gunmen have attacked the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi (FUAM), Benue State.

Reports from Daily Trust say that the gunmen stormed the campus on Sunday night, April 25, and the incident has been confirmed by the school authorities.

The number of students  abducted by the gunmen still remains unconfirmed.

A spokesperson for the institution, Rosemary Waku, disclosed in a statement that kidnap has been reported to the police, TVC News reports

The Statement Read;

“An unconfirmed number of students of FUAM were abducted at gunpoint by unknown persons from the campus on Sunday 25th April, 2021.

“The university has reported the incident to the police and all relevant agencies.

“The university has not heard anything from the students or their captors since the unfortunate incidence took place.”
