Kylian Mbappe has decided to renew his contract with Paris Saint-Germain despite interests from Spanish champions, Real Madrid.
Football fans have been thrown into a state of dilemma as to who the French superstar was going to play for next season. With Madrid calling for his signature, fans began to think he was joining the Spanish club this summer.
However, Mbappe has taken a U-turn as he has decided to continue with PSG for three more years.
The striker’s new contract deal is set to be annouced when PSG play their final Ligue 1 game against Metz on Saturday. A contract which could see him become the highest-paid player in the world.
His mother, Fayza Al-Amari revealed last week that there would be no further negotiations as the France International had deals in place with both PSG and Madrid.
Al-Amari disclosed that there were no major differences in the contracts offered by both PSG and Madrid, but it’s left to the player to decide which club he wants to play for next season.
