Popular Nigerian Singer, Burna Boy has made his fans worldwide very proud as the singer finally brings home his first Grammy award after being nominated in 2020.
Burna Boy’s Album, Twice As Tall won the Best Global Music Award in the 2021 Grammys Award event.
The album, Twice As Tall won over other exquisite records placed in the award nomination which include, Bebel Gilberto (Agora), Antibalas (FU Chronicles), Anoushka Shankar (Love Letters), and Tinariwen (Amadjar).
Although Burna Boy was not present physically for the event, a pre-recorded video clip of him accepting his Grammy award was played for viewers around the world to watch.
In the video, Burna Boy thanks his fans and family for their support as he accepts his award.
The singer in his Grammy award acceptance speech told all his African folks never to feel belittled in any situation, in his words, “You can achieve anything.”
