Debts cancellation was a system glitch – MTN

The network providing company stated that it was a glitch and work is in progress to eliminate the glitch.

The Mobile Telecommunication Corporation, MTN, has stressed that the recent debt cancelation status on his subscribers’ network is a system error.

MTN stated this on their official X page after many subscribers came out to express their satisfaction about the debt cancelation, as they believed it was deliberately cleared by MTN.

According to them, an unexpected glitch in their system caused the cancellation of debts, but the debts remain unchanged.

The corporation wrote, “Yello, we are aware that some of our customers’ xtratime debt was cleared. It was a system glitch, the airtime was not cleared.

“The issue is receiving attention from our support team and feedback will be shared once received. Thank you.”
