The Gelato crooner confirmed her matriculation with pictures on her verified Instagram page.

Nigerian disk jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy has confirmed her matriculation into the prestigious Oxford University, England.

She would be studying for a master’s degree in African Studies.

DJ Cuppy as she’s popularly called, took time out to excite her fans with pictures from what seems to be her special day. She annouced that today confirmed her studentship in the University.

Alongside pictures from the event, she wrote, “Matriculation Day at @Oxford_Uni. This ceremony confers my membership as a student! Worked my ass off to get in and it’s paid off! #CuppyOnAMission.”

In another picture where she adorned her matriculation gown, she couldn’t hide how proud she was to be black and attending the University.

“Black Excellence at Oxford University. Love to see it. Love to be it. It’s OFFICIAL and written in HISTORY! I’ve now been MATRICULATED,” she wrote.

Prior to all these, she has been updating her fans via her Instagram page as the process proceeded. There was a time she even posted a video of when she informed her parents about the news.

“Mama and Papa, I have news to share with you. Remember I applied at Oxford last year for my masters? I got it. I am going to Oxford University; I am going to Lady Margaret Hall,” she said.

Cuppy even shared a picture of her certificate of offer from the university, which showed that she has been accepted to study African studies.

This would be Cuppy’s second master’s degree after she already bagged one from New York University in 2015.
