The Economic and Financial Crime Commission on Tuesday, March 2nd, placed a ban on further congratulary messages for it’s newly appointed chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa.

The agency said that the increasing number of congratulary messages for it’s newly appointed chairman are gradually turning into a distraction and a ban had to be placed to stop it.

EFCC Places Ban On Congratulatory Messages For It’s Newly Appointed Chairman.

This directive was announced through a statement released on Tuesday, March 22.

The Statement read:

“While the open exhibition of affection and solidarity may be salutary in our cultural millieu, and indeed appreciated, it is however inauspicious at this point in time and gradually turning into a distraction.”
