The official X account of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has suddenly vanished, leaving many Nigerians puzzled.
The account which boasted over two million followers, now returns the message: “The term you entered did not bring up any results. Please try again later.”
Nigerians have expressed their concerns about the EFCC’s X handle, which has long served as a means of updates for issues regarding Nigeria’s various anti-corruption efforts.
The handle’s sudden disappearance has raised concerns, with some speculating it could be the result of hacking attempts.
