Former Chelsea player, Chris Sutton has made a fresh Premier League top-four prediction.

Sutton had last month backed Chelsea to win the Premier League title ahead of Manchester City.

However, the former striker has now changed his top-four prediction, backing Man City to lift the title ahead of Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United.

Following the international break, Chelsea will resume the campaign sitting top of the Premier League table with 16 points from their seven matches.

Liverpool are one point behind Chelsea, with Man City in third and Man United in fourth position.

“It’s a three-horse race in my book, between Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool,’ Sutton told the Daily Mail.

“Had Man City signed a striker in the summer, they would probably have walked this Premier League. Blindfolds and cigarettes may as well have been handed out to their rivals.

“But the fact that Manchester City did not get themselves a [Romelu] Lukaku is where it gets interesting.

“Chelsea did and they are completely in this race. As are Liverpool with Salah, Mane and Jota singing from the same hymn sheet.

“But I don’t consider United to be title contenders this season. They are guaranteed goals from [Cristiano] Ronaldo but concede too many and Solskjaer still has not got his tactics right. Sutton’s top-four prediction; Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.”
