Top International business magazine, Forbes recently released an article which contained a list of 100 Innovations, Inventions and Icons from Africa.
According to the magazine publication, the article is a “way to celebrate the listed ideas, inventions, and influential role models that have spelt Africa’s growth over the last decade.“
In the article Forbes recognized top celebrities and dignitaries from Nigeria, including Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Omotola Jalade, Funke Akindele who were featured amongst the top 100 African Icons.
Others who made the list were Mr Eazi, Genevieve Nnaji, Okonjo Iweala and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
Many other Africans such as, ex US president, Barrack Obama, Lupita Nyongo, Nasty C, amongst several others made the list. See the full list here.
