France suffer major blow ahead of UEFA Nations League final with Spain

France have suffered a major blow after their midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of their UEFA Nations League final with Spain on Sunday night at San Siro.

Rabiot will not be able to make the UEFA Nations League final on Sunday at 8.45 pm against Spain at San Siro.

The Juventus star is now placed in solitary confinement.

He will not join in with his France teammates in Milan for the Spain clash this weekend.

Rabiot cannot be replaced for regulatory reasons.

France coach, Didier Deschamps, can therefore rely on a group of 21 players for the final against Spain.

France had defeated Belgium 3-2 in the semi-final encounter on Thursday, while Spain 2-1 against Italy.
