The Napoli striker has been the subject of speculation throughout the transfer window.
Turkish side Galatasaray have reached an agreement in principle with Napoli to sign Victor Osimhen on a loan deal.
According to reports, the Turkish giants have agreed to sign Osimhen on a one-year loan, with his full salary covered.
However, while Galatasaray have agreed to cover €9/10m as salary for Osimhen until the end of the season, the deal does not include any buy option/obligation clause.
It is now left for Osimhen to give his green light to the move before the the transfer window closes in Turkey on September 13.
Recall that the Nigerian striker had pushed for a move away from Napoli all through the transfer window, but all to no avail. He has seen proposed moves to Chelsea and Al-Ahli come to a halt over payment structures and salary demands.
Due to this, Osimhen was not included in Napoli’s squad for the Serie A campaign and he has seen his squad number given to new signing Romelu Lukaku.
Napoli’s head coach, Antonio Conte recently disclosed that there was no reintegration for players that were left out of the squad.
