Hanifa’s Case: Court orders release of wife to 5-year-old student Killer.

Jamila Tanko, the wife of Abdulmalik Tanko, the killer of 5-year-old Hanifa, has been released by a magistrate court in Kano state, Nigeria.

Abdulmalik’s wife who allegedly conspired with him in kidnapping and murdering his 5-year-old pupil, Hanifa, was set free on March 4, Daily Trust reports.

According to reports, Jamila testified against her husband on March 3 at a High Court located in Kano.

Barrister Lamido Soron Dinki,, a state counsel, had pleaded earlier with the High Court to look into Jamila’s testimony.

After hearingJamila’s appeal on March 3, the High Court granted her plea and ordered for her release.
