The Belgian has not been able to justify his £100m transfer fee since he made his move from Chelsea in 2019.

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has indicated that he would be happy for Eden Hazard to leave in the coming year, claiming that he has never kept a player at a club against his will.

Ancelotti recently gave a reason for not playing a fit Hazard, saying he just prefers other players at the moment.

With just seven starts in all competitions for the Belgian, it is safe to say that Hazard has lost his place to a firing Vinicius Junior.

Hazard’s Madrid’s career has been painted majorly by injuries and poor form. Its been near a two-and-the-half-year spell at the Bernabeu with no major impact.

Now that his place in the team has been relinquished to Vinicius, it seems it would be better for him to leave by the coming transfer window. Already, he has been linked with a move away from the Blancos, with his manager suggesting he is free to leave if he wants.

“Never in my career as a coach have I forced a player to stay when they want to leave,” Ancelotti stated on Friday.

“In my own personal opinion I don’t have any doubts about that.”

Meanwhile, a move back to England has been rumoured for Hazard, with former employees Chelsea interested.

Do you think a move back to England would be right for Hazard?
