Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer, Mohbad, has refuted his daughter-in-law, Wunmi’s claims that he reprieved the nurse involved in his son’s death.
DAILY POST recalls that Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, had during an interview with Chude Jideonwo on February 19 2025, alleged that her late husband’s father stopped them from arresting the nurse that gave the singer the injection that led to his death.
Reacting to Wunmi’s claim on Tuesday during a TikTok live session, Aloba stated that “I have never set my eyes on the nurse. We haven’t met physically. If I had seen her, it would have been on the internet.
“I never had any conversation with the nurse at all. I have never mentioned the nurse since I started narrating what happened to Mohbad that night. I didn’t see any nurse present there, and nobody introduced the nurse to me.”
Aloba’s response came hours after a Lagos State Magistrate court cleared Naira Marley, Sam Larry and PrimeBoy of any involvement in the death of Mohbad, while the nurse will face trial.
