Popular Nigerian musician and philanthropist, David Adeleke aka Davido has been receiving lots of praises and gestures from fans and well wishers all over world ever since he donated a whopping sum of 251m to orphanage homes across the country.
From the total sum of money, 201m was accumulated after the singer made an online appeal, while the balance of 50m was added from the singer’s personal funds.
This big move by the ‘Fem’ crooner earned him praises from dignitaries across the country, including from Nigeria’s former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar.
Amogst the people who commended Davido for his kind gesture is an international businessman and a member of Forbes Business council, Charles Awuzie who described Davido as Africa’s greatest musician.
Charles announced his plans to gift Davido rare coins worth millions of naira via a Facebook post by an aide to Nigeria Vice President, Maria Ude Nwachi.
Legit.ng reports that, the coin named Transhuman Coin, according to Charles will have a value of $1(N410) per coin if held for the next one year.
