The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced on Monday, December 20, that all prospective 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) must acquire their respective National Identification Number (NIN) before registration for examinations commence.

The board disclosed this news on Monday, through it’s bulletin released by the Office of the Registrar in Abuja.

Accorrding to JAMB , the sale of application documents and registration for 2022 UTME and Direct Entry(DE) will soon commence.

Reports from Legit.ng say that, JAMB board announced that it is engaging it’s core functionaries in a series of intensive training to ensure that once a date is announced, the registration process will be hitch-free.

The Board Said;

“For those who may want to obtain any of the two application documents, they are advised to their NIN and also familiarise themselves with the Board’s integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS).

“It will give them an idea of the course requirements and the syllabus they are expected to cover for examination.”
