Good news for many Nigerians as the federal government hearkens onto their cries for the extension of the deadline set for NIN-SIM Linkage in the country.

The federal government responding to the people’s cries extended the deadline for NIN-SIM linkage by eight weeks.

According to The Punch, this information was first announced by the director, public affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission, Ikechukwu Adinde.

Ikechukwu said that the minister of communications and digital economy, Isa Pantami announced the new NIN-SIM linkage deadline on Monday, February 1st, during a briefing with the Ministerial Task-Force on NIN-SIM registration.

Hence, the new deadline for NIN-SIM Linkage is now April 6th, 2021.
