Konga ex-CEO commits suicide in Lagos home

The reason behind his act is still unknown.

Former Chief Executive Officer of one of Nigeria’s biggest e-commerce site Konga, Nick Imudia has reportedly committed suicide.

Imudia, who was said to be hale and healthy before he committed the act, jumped from the balcony of his apartment in Lekki area of Lagos State on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

While the cause of his act is still unknown, the business mogul reportedly made a call to his brother based in the United States to give him instructions on how to distribute his wealth. He also called his young daughter to inform her that he would always be there for her.

Friends and family are still shock as to why he would commit suicide.

Imudia is an indigene of Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State and was well loved by family and friends.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident to a correspondent of Punch News.

“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” he said.
