Liverpool are unbeaten at home in the English top-flight for the past three years. They have won 53 and drawn 11 in 63 home games in the Premier League.

Their latest win at home came against Leceister city, even with a handful of their senior players out injured or with other issues.

That win means that Liverpool have set a new club record for their longest unbeaten run at home; surpassing a record which was set in December 1980.

Jurgen Klopp’s men took the lead after a 21st-minute home goal from Jonny Evans with further goals from Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino.

New boy Diogo Jota becomes the first player in the club’s history to score in each of his first four home top-flight league appearances for the club.

He would hope to continue that form when the Reds seek to extend their unbeaten run at home in the league against Wolves come December 5.
