Nigeria’s film Industry was thrown into mourning on Monday, November 22nd following the death of popular veteran comic actor, Babatunde Omidina aka Baba Suwe.

Baba Suwe as he is popularly called is known to play hilarious roles in his movies. He brought so much happiness and laughter to Nigerians through the funny roles he played in his different films. The sudden news of his death brought shock and sadness to his fans worldwide.

The late veteran actor’s burial took place on November 25th in his compound, with several of his family members and colleagues present at his funeral.

In an online video, some notable actors in the Yoruba movie industry such as Madam Saje, Mr Latin, Yomi King and Sunday Omobolanle were seen with sad and dull faces in the actor’s burial.

A particular man who attended Baba Suwe’s burial, dressed up exactly like the late actor. He painted his face black just like Baba Suwe, and wore the signature outfit of the late actor, a black long-sleeved cardigan with a gold damask agabada, baggy trousers and a brown woolen cap to complete the look.

Like Baba Suwe, look-alike comic actor, also entertained the guests at the funeral with his playful antics.
