The Egyptian King has been recognised for his four goals contribution to Liverpool’s course last month.
Liverpool’s top scorer, Mohammed Salah has been awarded the PFA Fans’ Player of the Month Award for February after helping his club collect maximum points in the Premier League matches played.
During February, Salah scored four goals as he continues to be integral for Liverpool in their chase for Premier League silverware.
Salah has won the award, for the third time this season, wading off competition from Jarrod Bowen, Che Adams, Heung-Min Son, Craig Dawson and Harry Kane.
A statement on the club’s official website reads: “The Egyptian claims the prize for the third time this season after helping Liverpool win all four of their Premier League fixtures in the month.
“The first of his three top-flight goals in February came against Norwich City following Alisson Becker’s assist, before dispatching a pair of penalties in the win over Leeds United.
“Salah beat the shortlisted Che Adams, Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son, Craig Dawson and Jarrod Bowen to win the accolade.”
The 29-year old would be hoping to add more to his tally when Liverpool face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
Despite an injury scare, the winger may yet face Arsenal on Wednesday with the Reds hoping to close the gap on Manchester City. City’s draw with Crystal Palace puts the title race open with Liverpool just four points behind them.
A win for Liverpool on Wednesday would reduce the gap to just a point.
