Following the drama pertaining to the Edo Governorship Election, It is quite certain that Obaseki’s Statement is a “direct Shade’ to former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomole.

Also, Former PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar has sent a congratulatory message to Governor Obaseki. In his message, he commended the people of Edo State and described Obaseki’s victory as a new dawn for the State, and an end to godfatherism and militarism.

Atiku also called out APC governorship Candidate Ize-Iyamu, (who was formerly a member of PDP) and urged him to come back to PDP in order for him to head in the right direction.

Atiku Said, ” The Leprous hand he (Ize-Iyamu) is now holding can only lead to a destination of barrenness. He(Ize-Iyamu) is amongst strange bedfellows, and I remind him that no matter how far one has gone on the wrong road, it is never too late to turn back and head in the right direction. The PDP is the right direction.”
