The Brazilian has signed up to become an ambassador for the popular football simulation video game.

Neymar has been named an official Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) ambassador after announcing his partnership with KONAMI.

The Paris Saint-Germain superstar has signed with the Japanese entertainment company to promote all KONAMI football games.

Starting with the ‘eFootball PES 2021: Season Update’, Neymar will also appear in the Iconic Moment Series on the MyClub mode.

With an expression of delight, Neymar disclosed this news to his followers on Twitter, which reads: ” So excited to announce that I’ve partnered with KONAMI as an Official Ambassador for #PES2021 and beyond.

“We’ll have an iconic PES moment soon, so come and play!”

PES 2022 would be released later this year and Neymar will be one of the faces for the popular football simulation series. However, the game’s demo was made available for download between June 24 and July 8, with fans able to get their first taste of the game.

He now joins an illustrious list of PES ambassadors which includes former team-mate Lionel Messi and Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford, who appeared alongside both men on the 2021 game’s front cover is on board, as is Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies.
