Nigeria maintains position in lastest FIFA ranking

The lastest rankings where released on Thursday, 16th of September 2020.

Super Eagles of Nigeria have maintained their postion as the 34th best football country in the lastest FIFA World ranking.

Nigeria’s position in the world rankings remained unchanged despite consecutive wins in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

In Africa, Nigeria remains fifth only behind Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco who are ranked 20th, 25th, 30th, 33th in the world respectively.

Senegal are Africa’s highest-ranked team, followed by Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco in 2nd, 3rd and 4th positions respectively.

Meanwhile, Belgium are the best ranked team in the world followed by Brazil, England, France, Italy, Argentina, Portugal, Spain, Mexico and Denmark completely the top ten teams.

FIFA would release the next world ranking on the 21st of October.
