Osimhen’s agent debunks claims that the striker will join Chelsea on a season-long loan

His agent calls for media outlets to show some ‘respect’ for the Nigerian striker.

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen’s agent has responded furiously to claims that the striker could be joining Chelsea on loan as part of a swap deal.

Reports emerging earlier today have suggested that Osimhen may join Chelsea on a season-long loan with an option to buy. The deal will also include Romelu Lukaku move in the other direction on a permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, his agent Roberto Calenda has responded to talks about the striker’s future with a strong statement on social media.

He said, “I read about imaginative exchanges with Victor sent here and there as if he were a package to be delivered quickly. This package, however, is the top scorer of the third scudetto in Napoli’s history. Respect and stop with fake news!!!!”

Osimhen has been a subject of speculation throughout the transfer window, with reports that the striker will Napoli this summer. French giants Paris Saint Germain are believed to have shown interest in the striker as well as Chelsea and Arsenal.

However, Osimhen’s next destination still remains a misery to be solved.
