The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, confers national honour on the famous athlete, Tobi Amusan.
This came following the gold medal won by the hurdler at the 2022 Common Wealth Games that took place in Birmingham.
Amusan finished in a time of 12.30s to set a new Games Record and also secure Nigeria’s 10th gold medal. A 2.4 m/s tailwind denied Amusan the chance of breaking the Games Record in the semi-final.
At an event-themed Team Nigeria Continentals dedicated to celebrating the country’s win at the 2022 Common Wealth Games and World Athletic Championship, Tobi Amusan received a national.
