The Senegalese was on target for the Reds in a 3-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Senegal International, Sadio Mane has scored his 100th goal for Liverpool in the Premier League 3-0 win against Crystal Palace.

Mane, who scored the first goal of the game two minutes to the end of first half, became the 18th different player to score 100 goals for Liverpool. With that goal, he became the first player in Premier League history to score in nine consecutive appearances against a specific opponent.

The forward scored most of this 100 goals against Crystal Palace. He has a total of 10 goals against the Eagles.

After the match, team-mate James Milner was full of praise of the Senegalese, describing him as a quality player.

“It’s impressive,” he said.

“Obviously all the boys up there do so much for the team – not only goals.

“Assists, working for the team off the ball and how we play and press, we couldn’t do it without the front boys starting it off. But Sadio has great quality, scoring all types of goals and very important goals as well.

“Pleased for him because he’s such a good player and he deserves the accolades he gets.

Fellow African team-mates Mohammed Salah and Naby Keita were also on the scoresheet with the former continuing his impressive form in front of goal.

Salah now has 134 goals involvement since his debut for Liverpool in the Premier League- he alone has scored 99 goals and 35 assists.

It’s another win in the bag for Liverpool as they continue their strong start to the 2021-22 season. The Reds have now made it three wins from four as they look to win the title once again.
