Six individuals were killed by gunmen on Wednesday night, June 8, in the Sabo Area of Ondo Town, Ondo State.

Three days before, numerous people were slain at St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo by gunmen on motorbikes. It was also discovered that they looted several locals before fleeing the site.

Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the incident, adding that it was a robbery case.

Odunlami also said that men of the command are already on the trail of those behind the attack.
