The Blaugrana manager may have confirmed finally that Leo is leaving the club.

Barcelona Manager Ronald Koemann has penned a farewell message for outgoing star, Lionel messi.

Lionel Messi’s Barcelona exit looks to have been confirmed by their manager after he wrote a farewell message for the Argentine on his Twitter handle.

This came shortly after it was announced that Messi would be given a press conference, regarding his situation on Sunday.

Messi chose to take this press conference at Barcelona’s Camp Nou, with many still hoping that talks of his exit from the club could change course.

But it seems a new journey lies ahead of Messi now, with Paris Saint Germain leading the race to sign him. Sources claim that a two-year contract is set to be agreed with the Ligue 1 giants.

If this happens, Barcelona will have to brace-up for life after Messi “the Magician”. Koemann seems to have realised that as he admits it is “hard” to think that the “great” Messi will not play for the club again.

“[It’s] still hard to understand that you will not play for Barcelona anymore,” Koeman wrote on Twitter.

“Thanks for everything you have done for our club Leo. I really enjoyed the full season we worked together.

“I am impressed with your work ethic and desire to win. It makes you the best player in the world. For now, I wish you and your family the best!”

With Messi gone, Barca would be hoping to fill the void left by a man that has defined them over the past 15 years.

But the question remains, what happens to Laliga if the G. O. A. T leaves?
