Disclaimer: This is gonna be a deep one, so I want you to read with an open mind, and feel free to drop your opinions, either it supports or it contradicts.

For the adults reading this, you used to live in a time and day, where you had to work even as a child to eat, you had to work to fend for your family. It wasn’t your choice, it was the situation you found yourself in, and it was an ugly one, and you swore to yourself you would work so hard, that your children won’t have to work the way you did. Is that right?… That’s what I thought.

These days a lot of children live in the comfort of their parent’s wealth, which I have no problem with. I mean who no like better thing. As much as you try to raise your children in the right way, do not raise them to be dependent on you all their life.

I’ve seen 40-year-olds in their Father’s house, eating their mother’s food, doing absolutely nothing, not feeling the need to do it, Why? because they have all they need, in the comfort of their own space.

Parents should train their children in the right way, and make their children understand that they won’t be there forever, so they have to own up to responsibilities. They have to be trained on how to be independent. How to work for their money. How to achieve the dream they have.

These days you see a lot of children, trying to own a business, trying to work to get what they have, and you see parents discouraging them and telling them they do not have to, that they can do it for them through their power and influence. (because they have gone through that and swore remember? and they fear that history is repeating itself)

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the truth is, times have changed, things are evolving. Information is the root of all success.

What children these days need is the right information and Godly advice. Do not stop them from being what they want, Do not fear they would go through the experience you went through to get where you are. That’s why they have you, to guide them, to lead them aright, to allow them to grow and feed them with godly advice, and they would be fine even when you are not there.

The wisdom you gave them, and the freedom you gave them to stand out and tall even without you being there, would help them.
Remember what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger and you can never grow in your comfort zone.

I think this is one of the very strongest messages, I want to pass to parents, youths, and even children. That training a child to be independent with your guide is one of the best gifts you can give them.
