Will Smith Speaks On His Feelings Towards Tupac

Apart from being legendary in their careers, Will Smith and his spouse Jada Pinkett Smith are well known for always spilling the details of their marriage to the public. In a just released excerpt from his recent biography, Will Smith reveals how he truly feels towards the legendary Tupac Shakur. 

The True Feelings Of Will Smith Towards Tupac

Will Smith disclosed that he had “raging jealousy” towards Shakur Tupac. This jealousy stems from the famous bond his wife and Tupac shared. In a segment of his book in which he spoke on Tupac, Will Smith shared that;

“In the beginning of our relationship, my mind was tortured by their connection. He was PAC! and I was me. I hated that I wasn’t what he was in the world, and I suffered raging jealousyI wanted Jada to look at me like that. If she chose me over Tupac, there was no way I could be a coward. I have rarely felt more validated… I was in a room with Tupac on multiple occasions, but I never spoke to him. The way Jada loved Pac rendered me incapable of being friends with him. I was too immature.”

Jada And Tupac; A Rare Friendship

To be fair, it is no secret that Tupac and Jada shared a deep connection though the duo never had a sexual relationship. They were very close friends and grew up together. To date, the bond they both enjoyed is still spoken about.

Moreover, Jada doesn’t hide the fact that she and Pac were super close. In fact, during Tupac’s 50th posthumous birthday, Jada via her Instagram shared a never seen before poem written by the legendary rapper. From all indications, the friendship between the duo bothered Will Smith immensely. 

Anyways, this is not the first time Will Smith is speaking about how he feels towards Tupac. In 2020, he mentioned that Jada viewed Tupac as an image of perfection though she was with (him) The Fresh Prince.

Lately, Will Smith is on a roll of revealing all the details of his marriage and he is leaving no detail undisclosed. Recently, he spoke about falling in love with a movie co-star and how he spent three years planning his wife’s 40th birthday but she didn’t like it. Before now, Jada was known as the one spilling the juice about their marriage but Will Smith appears to have taken over the wheel and he is not slowing down.

Looking back in time, a few years ago, superstars like J.Cole were praying for the Jada and Will sort of love. Fast forward to today, they are hardly anyone’s couples goals.
