The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn to face the Black Stars of Ghana in the play-offs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Its seems it would be a “jollof” battle between two teams who have been bitter rivals for many years. Not only in football but in other areas of life.

The draw held on Saturday at Douala by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) director of competitions Samson Adamu, alongside Senegal’s sporting great El Hadji Diouf and Togo captain Emmanuel Adebayor.

Ghana would be hoping to appease their fans for an early exit from AFCON 2021 when they host the first leg of the encounter between March 24 to 29, 2022, with Nigeria hosting the return leg at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
