Two students fall and die while trying to take selfie at waterfall

The students lost their balance and fell into the water.

Two students have sadly lost their lives while taking a selfie at the pictureesque Linn of Tummel waterfall in Scotland.

While the police have already initiated an investigation into the matter, the cause of their death seems to be an unfortunate one.

According to reports, the two students are, 26-year-old Jitendranath Karuturi and 22-year-old Chanhakya Bolisetti, both from the University of Dundee, died during a trip to Scotland. The men lost their lives while trekking to the Linn of Tummel Falls near Pitlochry.

Local media suggests that the men died while taking selfies at the waterfall. At one point, they lost their balance and fell into the water.

Their bodies were recovered on Wednesday evening by emergency services.
