Former minister of aviation and chieftain of the All Progressives Party (APC), Femi Fani Kayode has been reportedly arrested once again by the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC).
According to reports, Fani-Kayode was allegedly arrested in the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, and taken to EFCC custody on Tuesday, November 30.
Daily Trust reports that, Fani-Kayode was in the court over his forgery trial, and on his way out of the court premises after the trial had been adjourned to January 24, 2022, he was approached by an EFCC investigator, Mr Shabuibu.
He was later arrested and taken into EFCC custody.
Vanguard reports that, Mr Shabuibu disclosed that at the time of filing the report, Fani-Kayode was being questioned by EFCC over false documents.
