The federal government of Nigeria says it is reviewing resumption date of schools across the country slated for Monday, January 18th.
On Monday, January 12th, the federal government explained that this new development is as a result of the deadly second-wave of Covid-19 virus which is spreading like wildfire in the country.
This information was delivered by minister of education, Adamu Adamu, during a press conference held by Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 in Abuja

Adamu Adamu said;
“On the January 18th resumption date we are reviewing it. We are going to review it. At the PTF meeting today, we considered it, and tommorow, the ministry is going to take it up.”
