BREAKING: Lewandowski wants a new challenge

The Bayern Munich striker wants to play for another top European team before he retires.

Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski wants to play for another top team in Europe before he turns 35 according to Sky Sports.

It is understood that the striker is happy at Bayern but would like to take on another challenge before his playing days are over.

Lewandowski, who turned 33 on Saturday still has two years left on his contract with the Allianz Arena outfit.

The German champions have, however put a high valuation on the Polish striker. This could make is unlikely for teams to price the FIFA and UEFA player of the year away from Munich.

Bayern have not offered a contract extension for the striker and it could be more difficult for him to secure a move to another big club considering his age.

Lewandowski is understood to be unhappy with Bayern’s reluctance to sell but he’s unlikely to cause any harm to the good tidings he has with the club.

Considered as one the best strikers in the world, he scored 56 goals for club and Country last season. He doesn’t seem to want to stop there as he already has 3 goals in Bayern’s opening two games.
