Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, has admitted that he missed Fred on the pitch as they lost 2-1 against Lille.
The Turkish side conceded a late goal against the Ligue 1 club in the first leg of their Champions League third-round qualifiers.
After the game, Mourinho was left disappointed, with the Portuguese claiming he missed former Manchester United midfielder Fred on the pitch.
Fred was not eligible to play the game on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters after the clash, Mourinho said, “I don’t like to say this but I miss Fred. He is an important player for us.
“We finished the first half of the tour trailing 2-1. Now it’s time to go to Kadıköy with our yellow and navy blue flags.”
