Chef Dammy Speaks Up: Responds to Reports About Unregistered Cookathon with Guinness Records

Chef Dammy, an acclaimed Nigerian chef, responds to Guinness World Records’ report on her 120-hour cook-a-thon attempt.

Earlier, it was reported that chef Dammy did not formally apply to the recording authority before attempting to break her compatriot Hilda Baci’s cooking record.

The Ekiti Chef clarified on her official Facebook page that her intention with the 120-hour cook-a-thon was to push her abilities rather than to break any records. She was pleased with herself for persevering and not giving up.

“As I previously stated, I embarked on this journey to test my capabilities, not for any GWR. I am pleased that I cooked for 120 hours.” “I am proud of myself for never giving up,” she said.

It is worth noting that the chef broke Hilda Baci’s 93-hour record for the longest cooking time. She has since received numerous gifts and financial assistance from Nigerians who praised her efforts.
