Joao Felix is set to return to the London club on a long-term contract.
English football club Chelsea have agreed a deal to re-sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid on a six-year contract with an option to extend by a further one year.
The Portugal international was on a short-term loan at Stanford Bridge in 2021, where he made 20 appearances for the club and scored four goals.
Now, Chelsea have agreed a permanent deal to bring him back to the club on a long-term basis.
With Joao Felix deal done, Conor Gallagher move to Atletico Madrid could finally be possible.
Felix made a total of 131 appearances for the Spanish club, scoring 34 goals and providing 18 assists in those games. He was once one of the most expensive players in the world, when he joined Atletico for a fee of £113m in 2019.
When the Portuguese completes his move to Chelsea, he would become the 10th permanent signing of the club during this summer.
