After the video of minors having sexual intercourse went viral on the internet, the Lagos State Government stepped into the issue on the ground with the aim to investigate what really happened with the students while they were in Dubai, and also punish offenders if there are any caught.
On Tuesday, April 19th, the Lagos state police command invited all pupils involved in the sextape, including their parents and the school teachers in charge of their custody while they were at Dubai.
The members of the school management who allegedly tried to cover up the matter were also summoned by the Lagos state police command for questioning, the Nation reports.
According Legit.ng, the parties mentioned were invited for further questioning in the late evening of Tuesday, April 19th as part of the police efforts in unearthing the truth. . The parties were asked to present themselves to at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti.
A police from the Command disclosed that the police force is not only interested in the sex-tape video, they are mostly interested in finding out where the children learnt the acts they displayed in the video and also want to find out if the children are victims of sexual assault.
The Police Source Said;
“It is an elaborate investigation.”
“Our concern is not just the video. We are interested in knowing how the children learned the acts they displayed. We want to be sure they are victims of sexual assault because of that is the case, the adults who exposed them to such must face the music.”
