Davido Slams Accusations of Attempting to Take Imade from Her Mother

Embattled newlywed singer, Davido rubbishes those accusing him of attempting to snatch their daughter, Imade from her mother, Sophia Momodu, amidst a joint custody battle.

This came following the singer’s joint custody bid which triggered a counter-affidavit from his baby mama, who penned a 100-paragraph reasons, stating why their child is better in her custody.

Davido, however, was faced with a series of accusations from social media users who accused him of using his influence to snatch Imade by hiding under ‘joint custody.’

Clarifying his stance on the custody, the singer reiterated wanting ‘joint custody’ contrary to the speculations of trying to have the child’s full custody.

“All I asked for was ‘joint custody’ but cus it’s davido yall wanna act like yall can’t read! SMH I’m off this … yall be blessed and I pray this never happens to you,” he wrote.
