Some disciples of the late TB Joshua have recounted some of the physical and psychological abuse they encountered in the BBC investigative piece.
Recall that in the late hours of yesterday afternoon, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) shared a snippet of an investigative documentary detailing how late TB Joshua allegedly harassed women sexually and abused his disciples.
The now-deceased SCOAN founder’s covert lifestyle was exposed in the three-part series. It shared graphic tales of rape, abuse, deception, and staged healings.
The BBC was informed by sources that although the church was aware of all the accusations, it never looked into them. They said that it’s been 20 years since some of these allegations of sexual offence.
In one of the episodes shared by BBC Africa, some of the disciples, who at the time were underage, recounted how they were abused several times.
One disclosed how she was slapped by the late TB Joshua for not publishing an article on time, while others described him as a hot-tempered man.
