The billionaire music mogul has been ordered to pay $3.5M annually to his ex-wife till she remarries.
American Rapper and music Executive, Dr. Dre has been ordered by a court to pay his ex-wife Nicole Young a sum of $300,000 (N151 million) monthly for spousal support.

He also has the option to pay a total sum of $3.5M annually until she remarries, although the decison is only temporary pending a final decision.
“[Dre] is ordered to pay to the [Nicole] spousal support in the sum of $293,306.00 per month, payable on the first of each month, commencing August 1, 2021.
“Dre will pay a total of $3,519,672 per year until Nicole remarries or “enters into a new domestic partnership,” the court statement read.
In addition to that, Dr. Dre is to keep paying for Nicole’s health insurance.
Nicole, who happens to be a well trained lawyer filed for a divorce with the rapper in 2020, stating “irreconcilable differences” as the reason their split.
When they got married in 1996, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement- a legal document signed by a couple before marriage, stating legal claim on each others property.
Nicole appealed for the prenup to be nullified, but Dr. Dre had disagreed with that arrangement. She also accused Dre of saying he wouldn’t carry out the prenup, which the former claimed isn’t true.
Their 25 years of marriage is blessed with two adult children, Triuce and Truly.
