EPL: Thierry Henry clears air on becoming Tottenham’s next manager

Former Arsenal skipper, Thierry Henry, has vowed he will never manage Tottenham Hotspur.

Henry was present at the Emirates Stadium, as the Gunners outclassed Spurs 3-1 in the North London Derby last month.

That defeat put pressure on Nuno Espirito Santos, who only replaced Jose Mourinho before this new campaign.

Since then, a couple of names have been linked with the Spur job, including Henry.

But Henry, speaking at the Prime Video Presents Sport 2021 event, when asked about managing Arsenal’s fierce rivals, said: “That would never happen in a million years.”

Henry retired from playing football in December 2014.

The Frenchman’s coaching career has seen him manage Monaco in Ligue 1 and Major League Soccer team Montreal.
