Former US President Barack Obama tests positive for Covid-19.

The former president of the United States of America, Barack Obama has tested positive for Covid 19.

Obama took to his social media on March 13 to announce that he tested positive for Covid-19 while his wife, Michelle tested negative.

The former America President disclosed that he found out he was positive for Covid-19 after suffering from scratchy throat for a few days. However, Obama stated that despite the scratchy throat he is doing fine.

Obama also stated how grateful he was that he and his wife, Michelle already got vaccinated and taken boosters.He further urged everyone to get vaccination even though Covid-19 cases are reducing in the US.

In his words;

“I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative. It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.
